| Jacob Hefter, 18, sent his girlfriend a text message on Friday afternoon, telling her his train would soon be at his destination in Moorpark. Three minutes later the train crashed. On Saturday afternoon, after a desperate night looking for information, Hefter's family learned Jacob's body had been identified at the scene of the crash. "It was not the news we wanted to hear," his older brother Jared Hefter said. "But at least it's news." | |||
