If your request for sponsorship is approved, please follow Ad Specification Checklist:
- Ad must include the Ventura County Star logo. Please do not alter or distort logo.
- Ad must measure 3 columns wide by 4.95'' tall ( or 4.95'' wide by 4.95'' tall).
NOTE: ALL IN-KINDS ADS ORDERED ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER 14 MUST MEASURE 4.95'' WIDE BY 4.95'' TALL. IF THE AD DOES NOT MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS WE ARE UNABLE TO PUBLISH THE AD.
- Ad must be high resolution in PDF format.
- Ad must be submitted within 10 working days prior to the first run date.
- Ad must be black and white and have a border.
- Ad must be named in this format: Your organization’s name and first run date.
- Once the ad has been received and deemed appropriate for publication, space will be reserved and no changes will be allowed.
- Ad needs to promote a specific fundraising or community event. Thank-you ads must be purchased through our Advertising Department.
The Ventura County Star cannot alter your ad. If your ad does not meet these specifications, it will be returned for revision.
Top three reasons why an ad may not run:
- Ordered past deadline
- Ad size is incorrect
- The Star's logo is missing or incorrect
